A Wildwood NJ Hotel* – About The SeaGull Motel
The SeaGull Motel was purchased by its current owners, the Nichols Family, in 1964. In 1971, the SeaGull underwent a twenty-room upgrade, with the addition of an entire floor. Since then, it has become a popular, clean, and relaxing seashore getaway with a convenient location, just steps from the boardwalk and beach.
You will be pleased to know, the SeaGull Motel staff is comprised primarily of loyal, long-time employees. You can be assured that your stay will be attended to by experienced personnel, who have pride in their work. One chambermaid has been here for 16 years – another for 11! Our maintenance staff has also been with us for quite some time.
In 2009 we lost our original CEO, Bill Nichols, after a year long battle with illness. His infuence will be felt forever! Bill was a dedicated proponant of Wildwood and all our great island has to offer. His friendly attitude and attention to detail has been handed down to us and we will make sure to honor his memory. The family-run SeaGull Motel will create memories that linger, long after the moments have passed…
* Technically the SeaGull Motel is a motel, not a hotel. The difference being that motels have their entrance on the outside, whereas a Wildwood NJ hotel has it’s entrance on the inside of the building. Wildwood NJ hotels are rare, since the fresh air and sunshine make Wildwood motels much more fun to stay at!
